The OPPO Find X10 Pro Max is the world's first phone with three 200MP cameras, a 2nm Dimensity 9600 Pro chip, and an 8,000mAh battery — and it costs around $1,015 in China. Launched on September 22, 2026, OPPO's new flagship goes straight at the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra and iPhone Pro class with camera hardware nobody else has matched. But it is China-first, with global availability only from October 21. Here is the full review.

Design & Display

The Find X10 Pro Max keeps OPPO's clean, rounded design with a flat 6.78-inch LTPO AMOLED panel that adapts from 1Hz to 120Hz and pushes to 144Hz in games — smoother than most rivals at their top refresh rates. Peak brightness is cited at around 2,000 nits (OPPO claims up to 3,600 nits), with 3,840Hz PWM dimming that is easier on eyes in the dark. Triple IP ratings (66/68/69) put it ahead of nearly every flagship for dust and water protection.

Performance

The Dimensity 9600 Pro is MediaTek's first 2nm chip, built on TSMC's N2P process with two performance cores at 4.55GHz. This is the first time a MediaTek flagship SoC has genuinely traded blows with Apple's silicon on multi-core workloads, and it puts the Find X10 Pro Max in the same performance conversation as the Xiaomi 18 Pro Max and Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra.

Performance Benchmarks

MediaTek claims Geekbench 6 scores of 4,276 single-core and 12,650 multi-core for the Dimensity 9600 Pro — against the Apple A20 Pro's 4,725 / 12,575. In other words, the Dimensity narrowly wins multi-core but trails roughly 10% in single-core. Note that Wccftech flagged MediaTek's comparison slides as potentially misleading, since the Dimensity 9500's reference score was quietly lowered in the comparison.

In leaked Geekbench 7 runs on a Find X10 Pro Max, the chip scored 3,242 single / 11,132 multi, behind the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 (3,582 / 12,247) by about 10% — but both are big generational jumps over 2025 flagships. On 3DMark Solar Bay Extreme (ray tracing), the chip scored 3,029, about 18% ahead of the Dimensity 9500. One 9-day hands-on review noted Geekbench scores varied between runs on a retail unit, so take early numbers with some caution.

Camera

The headline feature: a triple-200MP system, Hasselblad-tuned, with matched sensors across main, ultrawide, and periscope telephoto. That matching matters — colors and detail stay consistent when you switch lenses, something rivals with mixed-sensor arrays struggle with. The main sensor is a 1/1.3-inch 200MP unit with a bright f/1.5 aperture and OIS; the periscope offers 3x optical (70mm) with OIS and macro down to 10cm. Video is cinema-grade: 8K30 O-Log2 on all three rear lenses, 4K120 Dolby Vision, and Open Gate recording with Blackmagic Camera app support for creators.

Battery & Charging

The 8,000mAh silicon-carbon battery is a flagship first, and OPPO rates it to hold 80% capacity after five years. A 9-day hands-on review reported 7.5–8 hours of screen-on time and only three charges in nine days. Charging is 80W wired and 50W wireless — fast enough that the massive cell still fills quickly. The catch: European units are reportedly getting a smaller 7,150mAh cell (leak, unconfirmed).

Price & Availability

China pricing starts at ¥6,799 (about $1,015) for 12GB/256GB, topping out at ¥8,999 (about $1,343) for 16GB/1TB — dramatically undercutting Samsung and Apple flagships. The global rollout begins October 21, 2026, starting with Europe, with UK blind pre-orders already live. A leak via Dealabs suggests European pricing of €1,799 with a smaller battery and no 16GB configs — unconfirmed, so treat with caution. India launch is expected around Diwali in early November.

Verdict

The OPPO Find X10 Pro Max is the most camera-ambitious flagship of 2026: the triple-200MP system, the first 2nm MediaTek chip, and an 8,000mAh battery with a 5-year health rating are all genuine firsts. If OPPO's European pricing holds near the leak's €1,799, much of the value argument evaporates — but at its China price, this is the hardware bargain of the flagship class.
