Oppo's Find X10 Pro Max is the first smartphone in history to pack three 200MP rear cameras, and it pairs that camera ambition with MediaTek's first 2nm chip and an 8,000mAh battery. Launched in China on September 24, 2026 for around $1,015, it is Oppo's most aggressive flagship ever — and a direct answer to the iPhone 18 Pro Max.

Design & Display

The Find X10 Pro Max keeps Oppo's refined glass-and-aluminum look with a huge rounded camera island housing the triple 200MP array and the Hasselblad "H" branding. It is fully sealed to IP66/IP68/IP69 — the highest dust-and-water rating on any mainstream flagship. The 6.78-inch LTPO AMOLED hits 3,600 nits peak brightness and runs 120Hz system-wide (144Hz kicks in for supported games), with 3,840Hz PWM dimming for eye comfort in the dark.

Performance

Inside is MediaTek's Dimensity 9600 Pro, the first 2nm smartphone chip from MediaTek, with CPU clocks up to 4.55GHz and a new Mali-G2-Ultra-NX GPU. Oppo positions it as a no-compromise flagship SoC, and early listings put it within striking distance of Apple's A20 Pro on multi-core workloads.

Performance Benchmarks

Benchmark figures are early — from pre-release listings and initial comparisons — so treat them as reported rather than final. In Geekbench 6 (same-version comparisons reported by Memeburn and Gadgets.beebom), the iPhone 18 Pro Max's A20 Pro scores around 4,725 single-core and 12,575 multi-core, versus roughly 3,943 / 12,130 reported for the Dimensity 9600 Pro: Apple holds about a 20% single-core lead while multi-core is nearly tied. In AnTuTu 11, the Find X10 Pro Max reportedly pushes around 4.71M against the iPhone's 3.50M — though AnTuTu is heavily GPU- and memory-weighted and is not an apples-to-apples comparison across iOS and Android, so weigh it lightly.

Camera

The headline feature: three 200MP sensors — a 1/1.3-inch main with f/1.5 and OIS, a 200MP ultra-wide with autofocus, and a 200MP 3x telephoto with OIS and 10cm macro — all co-tuned by Hasselblad with the LUMO True Image Engine plus a 3MP multispectral sensor. All three rear cameras shoot 8K30 video with O-Log 2. The caveat, flagged by Memeburn's analysis: the ultra-wide and telephoto sit on smaller 1/1.56-inch sensors, so they will likely trail the main camera in low light. Independent real-world camera verdicts are still pending, per Notebookcheck.

Battery & Charging

The 8,000mAh silicon-carbon battery (7,150mAh in the EU variant) is among the largest in any flagship, and Oppo claims 80% capacity retention after five years. Charging is 80W wired and 50W wireless — far ahead of most Western flagships.

Price & Availability

China pricing runs around $1,015 for 12GB/256GB, around $1,120 for 12GB/512GB, around $1,194 for 16GB/512GB, and around $1,344 for 16GB/1TB. The global unveiling is set for October 21, 2026 in Mallorca, with India confirmed and EU/UK pre-orders already underway through Oppo's own stores. The phone is not officially sold in the US.

Pros and Cons

  • Pros: industry-first triple 200MP Hasselblad camera system with 8K video on all three lenses; massive 8,000mAh battery with 80W wired + 50W wireless; 2nm Dimensity 9600 Pro flagship performance; 144Hz LTPO display with 3,840Hz PWM dimming; IP66/IP68/IP69 durability; roughly $300 cheaper than the iPhone 18 Pro Max in China.
  • Cons: smaller 1/1.56" sensors on the ultra-wide and telephoto may lag in low light; 144Hz limited to games; leaked European pricing is a steep jump over the Find X9 Pro; no official US sale; independent camera verdicts still pending.

Where to Buy

Global and India availability follows the October 21 launch.

Verdict

The Oppo Find X10 Pro Max is the most ambitious camera phone of 2026: three 200MP sensors, a 2nm flagship chip, and a battery nearly twice the size of its rivals, for around $1,015 in China. If the smaller secondary sensors hold up in low light, it undercuts the iPhone 18 Pro Max by roughly $300 while out-speccing it on paper. The October 21 global launch will decide whether the rest of the world gets that deal.
